Many of my projects and exhibitions I have participated in explore new media art experimentations and art installations and how cognitive psychology plays a role in my self-expression. I try to make my creative process more accessible by taking advantage of the endless possibilities offered by new media technologies. Some of my major influences include mathematics, music and sound, science, and technology. Most of my digital images begin with abstract illustrations generated from scratch or with a photo or video that conveys mysterious, unfamiliar beauty. I experiment with depth, texture, and dramatic colours utilising the relationship between art and technology to create experimental narratives.

Always open to learning new approaches, I am interested in exploring how different artistic methods can support psychological well-being, self-development, memory, problem-solving, consciousness, creativity, and thinking. I have always wanted to collaborate with other professionals, such as educators, musicians, psychiatrists, scientists, engineers, and more, to explore how my approach to art-making can positively contribute to their fields.

Having a free mind to experiment and try things out without knowing where it might lead is essential. This mindset encourages discoveries that are part of the creative learning process. It also contribute to socio-emotional development and supports a better way of living. Labeling or categorising the artis can create negative stereotypes hinder the true creative process, which is why this project, NOT YOUR KIND OF ARTIST JAMAICA, focuses on the various influences that drive experimentation and creation. The framework of this title is to shed light on misunderstandings that occur when viewers focus more on expected themes or subject matter because of an artist’s origin. As an artist from Jamaica, I refuse to be boxed in or limited to particular themes or subjects.

This ongoing project is divided into four parts:
